Better travel hack - just bring an empty bottle, 90% of airports have filtered water bottle stations….

I always fill my hydro with ice and water to the top so by the time I get to TSA I’ve drank all the water (or beer) and can get through TSA with no problem and fill up at the closest water fountain. Unless it goes through with just a lil too much water then you gotta pour it out and go through again. 😷😷😷😷

Honestly i didn't know ice came from water til i was 13... I grew up in a small town so we didn't have access to ice like you do in the city with all the stores selling it in bags! I'm not in a northern climate so we don't get much or any ice delivered to our small local stores there...

I do this all the time when going out for a few hours on hot days: baseball tournaments, camping, hiking, bike rides, etc. You get a nice cold drink as the ice slowly melts, when cold drinks are usually hard to find. However, getting a drink when flying is not usually a problem, so I don't think I am going to risk trying this at the airport.

Going through Knock airport in Ireland, you can just bring 2 litres of liquid through lmao Plus you only gotta empty pockets and take large shoes off, don't gotta take ANYTHING out of your bag, new scanners are GREAT UK airports gotta comply with the same rule late next month so hopefully other places follow suit

Here in developed countries we have water dispensers after the security where you can fill your water bottles with cold water. No need to worry if it goes through or not.
